Aside from the Yoga explorations Taghazout is ideally located for a number of other activities that can be undertaken in your free time or on afternoon’s off.
Surf

Taghazout is famous as a surf location and has waves all year round though those in the summer months are probably more suitable for beginning/intermediate surfers.
Beaches

As well as the main beach in Taghazout village, there are a number of beaches outside of the town some of which are more secluded and quiet.
Surrounding Villages

There are many noteworthy villages around Taghazout. Nearby are the villages of Aouir (Banana Village) and Tamraght which has also recently become a popular destination for people looking for an authentic Moroccan seaside experience with modern conveniences.
Driving further from Taghazout, along the stunning coastal road to Essaouira, there is Imsouane being discovered by surfers and other travelers not only for its good waves but also for its non-commercial atmosphere.
Taboga Dunes

While maybe not as impressive as the Sahara, you can think of this as a little Sahara by the ocean where a popular activity is sand surfing.
Paradise Valley

A possible trip for an afternoon off, this is a trek through a beautiful valley where one can swim in natural pools and soak up the sun.
Hammam

Recover from Yoga, the Moroccan way with a visit to a traditional (or more up-market) Hammam.
Seek the Souk

Nothing is perhaps quite as Moroccan as a visit to the Souk, where, at the same time as experience old world Moroccan market culture, you can find unique Moroccan crafts at bargain prices (if you haggle!).
